At this point it's just a joke to them since I'm sure they've known this for the longest.
At this point, people complaining about "oh god 70-100 secondary stat points out of my 1400+ allotment aren't increasing my damage it's the end of the world" is far more annoying than Parry appearing on a Tank Weapon.
Well that's just another bad thing about parry then isn't it? +10 complaint threads per point.
Why shouldn't we complain when tanks get the only secondary that's literally useless?
Technically, Dark is the only job that has any use for parry, with reprisal and low blow resets. It'll be better if there was a way to reset reprisal like low blow, especially for 1 on 1 fights. However if the functionality of parry in stat numbers is anything like accuracy. There's a minimum value related to content. So anything below it will amount to almost no parry procs. On the other end anything above the amount needed for that 20% RNG is wasted and could have been used for something else. Otherwise Parry sucks for 1 on 1 fights but becomes noticeably useful when holding a group of mobs, 5 or more. As that is what'll force proc reprisal and low blow on Dark Knight the most.
Unless the amount of parry influences damage reduction from parry. Warrior is the only other job that can make it work on both group (15 sec) and single (~20 sec) targets but the 80% rate may be independent from the stat value.

Maybe because it's not literally useless and it appearing on one piece of gear is so inconsequential to your DPS that making an entire thread to complain about it is the equivalent to nuking a city in response to someone poking you?
Parry in this game makes me miss WoW where it shows you your exact crit chance and various chances to avoid attacks on your character sheet rather than all this guesswork.
