Because the hardcores only want content that's so tightly tuned that you can't make progress without hours of playtime per day and a dedicated static.

And this forum is full of them. Sadly they try and flavor all content though their lenses and don't realize that there are people playing this at all levels and play styles. I'm going to try leveling whm on my alt from level 1 just to see how quickly i can level it. Even if it helps get me to level 15 quickly where I can then start leveling roulette and not have to fate grind my way to 15 it'll be a sweet change.

I also think it's a nice addition to new players who aren't in Heavensward and who get little in the way of new content given most new additions are level 60 focused and expansion centered.

i normally hunt log 1-10 but i the 10-15 stretch is tough since the hunt log isn't enough. would've loved to have this as an option back when i still had jobs to level.

I tried poking in as solo WHM my first time in to take a look and get some exp. I was promptly ambushed and killed. XD I'm going to have to give it another shot now that my gear strength has increased.

I love it as well. Thank you Dev team! I'm enjoying my dungeon crawl very much. Those slimes... they stopped me from running headfirst into rooms and my friend wanted to kill me himself, but that just upped the charm of Deep Dungeon for him and I.

Plus the tomes. I might actually cap this week without even trying (It's a good week if I break 100 tomes these days). 2 thumbs up.

tbh i think i like the randomness of the match making as opposed to the preformed parties.
It gives a little bit of a challenge as you dont know what sort of extra 'god aweful luck' you will get and one of the challenges is adapting to that crappy luck.

The first day i went with all match making PTs. The odd parties got chaotic at times but i guess thats where your skills shine.
You cant really discover much challenges if your in a snuggly pre formed party.

I must say I like it a lot.

Sure, it's a bit mindless, only approaching standard dungeon difficulty on the last (for now) floor set, but it's a refreshing change from endgame-only updates. For 60 classes it's a nice, relaxing way to earn your weekly Lore while working towards a free i135 weapon/glamour and some accompanying materia, and for alt classes, particularly DPS, it's seems to be a decent levelling alternative to long queues and fate grinds.

I'm back! My fc and I ran all the way to floor 50 last night. We were using a balanced party comp (we proly didn't need a healer except for those nasty landmines while pulling mobs). Took us about 3 1/2 hours we took a small break between floors. Think my weapon by the end was a +12 and my armor was +11 can't remember atm. So roughly 3 runs for a i235 weapon=easy money. Looking forward to more can't wait.
