THANK YOU for the Deep Dungeon!

Hello. I have seen a lot of criticize on the forums about the new content, so I wanted to share my opinion on it as well.


Deep Dungeon is what players like me and my friends who have played fantasy RPGs since the NES era were looking for. Maybe we're not a very vocal part of the community, but this EXACTLY what we (or at least me and close friends) were expecting since Diadem.

You know that feeling you get while playing FF1 for the first time, when you are about to get a chest in Chaos Shrine, but a bunch of Ghouls attack you? That feeling of "Oh my god, I can't run away" followed by "I have to somehow beat these things and get out here alive!"? That's the same feeling Deep Dungeon made me feel. That nostalgic, great feeling of surprise and enjoyment.

I may be just one player in a game with more than 5 million subscribers but I really really really wanted to say thank you to the dev team for the Palace of the Dead. You guys got that arrow straight to the heart of retro gamers who also play this wonderful MMO.

Yeah, I got a good feeling out of it. I like it and can't wait to see what the other floors will be like. I really don't know what people expect anymore.

YAS! A little positivity, this makes me happy!

I've personally had so much fun today in there. I've only went through it once (with 4 people.) And maybe because I went with friends, and we sorta just, all had a good time and good energy going off each other as we kept going on. Nothing was too overtly difficult as people have said, but like Yoshi said in the beginning, it was never meant to be. We'll have the harder floors come out once we get there, the rest from 51-200 will surely have something different added to the mix. Even so, just a raise in difficulty will definitely shake it up somewhat.

I personally knew what I was expecting going into this, and I'm very much not disappointed in the slightest! I've had an amazing time so far, story was on point!! (OH LAWDY WAS IT!) and I can't wait to see what is in-store for us next! Really 10's all around from me personally, just Nyzul Isle re-imagined in a nutshell for me personally.

i love going in with matched party never know what kind of party your gonna get..... most fun party so far would of been 3 bards and a black mage cleared the 21-30 with not much trouble glad didnt get that in the 31-40 1 tho lol

I'm glad to hear that ppl are actually enjoying it, I just got off of work so I haven't been able to play yet. While searching the forums I've run into so much negativity regarding potd. And yes I'm looking forward to getting home, patching and going solo, the only question is dragoon or paladin?
Can't wait.

Deep Dungeon is interesting, but if you've completed it it would be nice to up the difficulty if starting at level 1-10 again. 1-10 is way too easy, I would like the option to skip this.

It has its flaws, but overall, I was pleasantly surprised with it and see its potential. This can become "end-game" content that even a level 17+ newbie can participate in.

I just wish you could select the floors like Nyzul after you had recorded the completed floors.

This was a lot of fun. I've ran it with matched group only with weird grouping results which adds a lot of fun to the randomness. I've only made it to floor 20 twice. Gonna try to finish it tomorrow and also attempt Solo and see how far I can get.
