atm probably. But somehow im a bit skeptical still.
back in XI nyzul/salvage, you go one way, something spawns, you go the other way, something else spawns,
you reach xx in xx min. something spawns. You reach xx without/with some xx item, something spawns.
At this point in time, it seems that not many have experimented on those types of mechanics, rather i see threads that even want more easy going timers.
Them having already build nyzul/salvage, i wouldnt be too quick to discount it as unexciting, because those dungeons back in XI were pretty mediocre if done the no brainer method. And it kinda looks like thats how deep dungeon is being run atm. The 'lalala im watching TV on teh side' run.

Plus after floor 50 it won't be a leveling dungeon, so eventually 3/4 of the thing will be an end-game activity.

If you're not patient enough to wait for that, well, sucks to be you.
They never advertised after floor 50 being harder until like weeks before today so once again another hyped content ruined. Im perfectly patient I have birds to farm and a second anima weapon to work on I'm content, just disappointed once again.

We are talking about the current floors and that's what our comments/reviews are about. Our opinion may change when the new floors are released but this is how we feel about the current situation.

Honestly I had way more fun in diadem than I did in PotD.
And in Diadem I worked my butt off to get pegasus and you could get armor that was good and relevant. It was way more interactive and fun (at least for me). PotD has been boring and being forced to do floors 1-20 again and again when your arm and armor are at 21 or up is messed up. Like just let me pick the floors that allow me to improve my arm and armor. Don't waste my time

I think people have said you can outrun Final Sting.

That response was directed solely at the idea that having it be a leveling dungeon and available from 17 was a stupid idea, rather than a solely end-game activity. It having more creative designs or puzzle elements added, and other such objectives that increase in complexity the closer you get to the 50th floor, doesn't require that it only be accessible at end-game.

    You can.

Not sure what the range is on the Rapture ability the Palace Slimes do. I know for a fact if you're in melee range and it's not stunned, you could end up dying real quick to that, but my FC group got really lucky and never saw it when we went in as a group (with two ranged) so I didn't get to see any other aspects about how it worked.

SE just managed to hit a bottom of creativity.
This wasn't meant for people with everything at lvl 60 to have as their "current" content. This was made for anyone and everyone, new player, or old player. SE has stated that later floors in patches to come will be more challenging. This was implemented as a way of adding a new way to level your lower classes, while at the same time working towards a mount, and a flashly glow weapon that you might have in your hands and ready when you get that low level finally to level 60.

So please stop with this "Well this was the make it or break it for me" line of thinking. If you really thought that a .05 patch was going to be showered with tons of new challenging content, you are sorely mistaken.

We only have up to floor 50, so the floors after 50 are still being designed.

In fact, SE probably wanted to see what the initial reaction and suggestions for this content were before they went overboard developing it.

What we got was the leveling section, which slowly gets progressively harder, and the base foundation for the dungeon.

Everything past what we have now is subject to change. We can wind up with objectives being introduced in the next floor block sets.

Is there an achievement for completing solo? If not maybe there should. There's no reason to run solo (progression) except for the challenge (or farming, but farming what?). I've only been doing it solo.. and it has been very slow progress. But definitely has the Iron Mode mode feel of XCOM, TW, CK, etc.

...Traps traps traps ugh thanks RNG for putting that landmine right there. THANKS.

?Can you start with a group, complete 1-10 with group, then proceed to 11-20 solo (or with a different group?, or that requires the different save?
Finally someone who answered the question! I don't think there's an achievement. That would be fun though. If I get to the end solo I'm going to take a screenshot for a trophie. :P

You can't change comp mid way I think. I couldn't even change jobs on my fixed party save. However if you do matched party mode you get a different group each round but you can't solo in between.

I was just thinking about another games similar content (pretty much the same thing as Deep Dungeon) but they utilised SO many aspects of the game. Yep, Runescape 'Dungeoneering'.

They had different colour keys for different rooms, had weapons and armour actually drop so killing mobs was exciting, and even used gathering and crafting classes such as setting fire to trees which blocked doors. This can easily be implemented into FF. They also had really fun puzzles and riddles to access rooms. All of those were optional though so nobody could complain about progression if they didn't have the levels.

Those are just a few examples to add some depth into the content.
