    Is there a source? Because I think this is false. Deep Dungeon is based off some game called Chocobo Mysterious Dungeon or something. I think it was.. Snugglebutt(?) who stated this.

    A mystery dungeon game(dungeon crawler) is what DD is. Not Nyzul. Have you played a Pokémon Mystery Dungeon game? I played one when I was like.. 12 but I really loved it and DD is exactly like THAT. Not this Nyzul you speak of. I don't think this was meant to be Nyzul..

    You know what many? We took it easy so that the contents do not get bored, I go down 10 floors every day to avoid getting bored doing the same activity for 3 hours(any activity you do for 3 hours bored)

    Possible solution to people leaving at 49, leaving resets you to floor 1.
    Oh, good, so people will have even more reason to try to wipe the group instead, since they can't leave.

    Here's my feedback.

    Preface: I really wasn't hyped about this content. Everything I read about it looked frustrating or bad.


    Overall Opinion: I really like it. This is the most fun I've had in game outside of raiding since doing the 3.0 story.

    Issues or things that can be improved:
    • Recycled music from old content often doesn't fit the atmosphere and feels very out of place. Would have preferred new tracks.
    • The environments themselves are very very dull. I know that the dev team can design cool looking areas, and I'm not sure why they decided to make dull caves for this content.
    • Once finishing level 50, you need to go all the way back to level 1. I'd prefer if we could just keep farming 41-50 (even if that meant that silver coffers would be even more rare to balance)
    • The current design promotes people wiping parties, because they haven't got their last +arm/armor by floor 50. There needs to be a better way design the content to address this.
    • There should be puzzles of some sort. This has a major Zelda series vibe to me, but is missing this component of what makes Zelda dungeons so engaging.

    Score: I like numbers, so giving it a numerical score on quality 7/10

    Hmm... Let me say what I think about PotD after getting my weapon and all.

    It took me 6 runs from 1-50 to get my first Padjali Weapon. 300 floors in total. 2 days worth of grinding for me (casually playing).
    The rewards are exceptional, so saying there is no reason to do the content because there are no worth rewards is not true. You can get tier V materias, a mount, minions and a weapon with the same ilv as the newest trial, and some have better stats than Horde ones (SCH and BRD one comes to mind - don't start me on SKS vs. DET).
    Experience is also high. It gives you about the same bonus EXP a leveling roulette would give you, and it goes even higher the more you go on (I got 800K+ experience on my Summoner for completing 41-50).
    Tomes are nice too, you can even get sufficient lore from there to cap for the week, if you go with a level 60 class.

    That said, I am aware that this type of content is NOT for everyone. This is designed like a grindy dungeon crawl, where you get rewards by killing mobs and exploring rooms even though they seem empty. It's a mix of old school Final Fantasy/RPGs and games like Ragnarok Online. The frustration of getting mimics most of the times is part of that. This is a very niche content, I agree, but it was extremely well designed. Patch 3.35 is a mid-patch, and on a game as expansive as this one, I find it funny (not to say otherwise) that some people are pissed for the content not catering to them. Savage doesn't caters to me and it's as niche as PotD (or even more niche), but that's ok.

    I hope the DEV team continue to expand on the Deep Dungeon as it goes on, because it's an extremely rich content - lore and gameplay-wise - that can be polished to be a complete different and exciting experience from all other content currently in the game.
