Thread: Extremely Disruptive Cool Down Error Persists Post Patch 3.35

My first post was not addressed and has been moved to the resolved thread when it has not been resolved.

I decided to be patient and wait for this error to be fixed in the next patch.

Please see this video showing that the error continues to persist in patch 3.35.

In brief summary, at the end of every Global Cool Down there is a brief reset to the GCD - a roll back essentially - that disrupts all combos and is especially disruptive in challenging content.


DEVS please address this issue. I am running the game on PC and have had none of these issues up to patch 3.2. This all began on patch 3.3 and persists into 3.35.

It's not lag. My ping is very low. There's no issue with any other aspect of the game lagging. I'm also hardwired in on FiOS with 100mb down and up.
There's no reason that immediately after Patch 3.3 launched I've had this issue when I've been playing the game for years without hiccup.

I saw someone complaining in a linkshell tonight about their Ninjutsu having problems & it may have been the same think. I don't Ninja so I can't relate to it but hope it gets sorted.

It's not just for ninja. It's affecting all my combat classes. I hope it gets sorted too. I really don't know where or how this error came about. But thank you for agreeing that it's not lag.

From what I recall when ninja was first introduced a lot of people discovered that they had lag issues that didn't exist for any of their other jobs because ninja is so tightly tuned.

I'll create another video that demonstrates the same issue with other jobs. I think that may help other reader, and the devs, sway away from saying its lag ir just a ninja thing.
