Palace of the Dead is a grind, and what a grind it is. And for what?

My biggest problem is that the "rewards" are lame. And that they're locked behind a ridiculously boring grind. It's not even that long just boring.

The fact that your odds of having your aetherpool arm and armor increase are soooo low once you've reached the halfway point is just not worth it. You have to run the first 40 floors again and again with no reward whatsoever to get to floors 40-50 to then have better odds of increaing your aetherpool stuff. Maybe it's just me but I guess I'm good. Before the SE stans come for me I just wont be doing PotD

I went from BLM 54 to 55 and a half.

I would say it is a change of pace from fates and leves.

EDIT: I went through 1 all the way to 20 and was locked from 31+. BUT, I just ran 1-10 and we were set. All Deep Dungeon is done.

It amazes me how butt hurt people get when others try to express how they feel in a civilized way. If I know there is a way to unsub and get my money back I would definatly go that route till next patch. Im not out on the game, its more of a "really SE" moment for me. If there is a way to re-coup pre paid subs, please inform me.

Second, maybe you should of read up on pre paid cards before using one?

OMG would you let us enjoy the fun and togetherness with friend to done palace of the dead rather complaining at first day of patch?! I still finish at 20th floor and I still enjoy it. Please don't being toxic since some still enjoy this stuff... (You can roast me if you disagree)

Beat floor 1-50 within 4 hours and was disappointed because the game doesn't allowed you to go to one of the previous floors you were on and completed instead you have to start out at level 1 and go through it again limited by the remains unchanged until you get back up to level 60. I don't hate the place i just hate the fact I have to start out completely again.

the reason for that is probably due to people would just do 41-50 over n over again for mount n never go back

Yup. And people would get that grade v materia and ruin the market.

One thing that probably would be nice is if the boss floors had a chest with equipment in it. I recall Nyzul Isle's bosses floors could give special equipment. In this case, it'd probably have to be just L.1 glamour, but it would be something.

The gear wouldnt even require stats, everyone knows glamour is the real endgame. Give me some rare lvl 1 non stat gear that looks awsome, not like im going to make use of 230 gear at this point anyways.

They could even bring the gear from Nyzul Isle itself: Askar, Goliard, and Denali. Or something else altogether/
