Deep Dungeon - job/class save slot issues

There's a problem (at least) with Fixed queue where if a member starts a run as a class (e.g. PGL), they are forced to use that class for the entire save slot instead of the job if they happen to level past 30 and unlock the job. Just seems like a huge oversight when my friend could be playing our save as his MNK instead and messing around with the job abilities.

Can't you queue as the job from level 1?

Can queue as a class at level 17. Can't be a job till 30, so that sets lower limit for queueing as a job.

The proposed solution would probably be "Just reset the progress". I mean, this is also their solution if you're unlucky with RNG and didn't manage to upgrade your gear enough to do later floors too.

It's more that he hit actual lv30 inbetween floor sets, so he went and did his monk unlock quests and got his soulstone, but was still forced to be pugilist for the rest of our floors 30-50 clear unless we decided to reset our progress.

The patch notes actually make note of this exact thing so I wouldn't call it an issue. It's just how it's designed. It would take an hour or two to get back to the same point if you reset and you'd need to do it eventually to progress your aetherpool stats anyway...

I don't think this is really an issue as you will need more than one run most likely anyway. Get 30 reset it do job quest and then go back in stronger than before. Getting to 30 will take an hour max.

If you get very lucky with silver coffers for aetherpool upgrades perhaps. Most people don't seem to be that lucky. If you don't get enough upgrades you have to reset and rerun lower floors.

This isn't really an issue, you started as a pugilist so you gotta finish as one.

Just restart and speedrun the first 20 floors or so if you want to change to monk.
