    Anima Weapons mistakes

    Hello,
I recently purchased by mistake (my own mistake) a Nothung (DRK Anima 210) since I started the quest on DRK (being it my old main) it took me 3 months to farm all the required materials. In these 3 months i changed my main to NIN and wanted to use those materials on NIN anima.

Realized my mistake I contacted the in-game support, who told me that they could do nothing to Anima weapons because of Square Enix's policy.
I understand that a strong policy is an important thing in a major video game house, but losing time (a lot of it) on a single mistake it is a terrible thing. It's making the game a lot less enjoyable and i feel abandoned, it's just an item we're talking about and by asking to destroy the Nothung to get the materials back didn't seem such a big deal to me.

In this particular case i think that Anima weapons' policy is too strict and unforgiving to player's mistakes, Real Life is unforgiving to one's mistakes and I think a game (at least) should give some relief to that, not making this feeling stronger.

I hope to get some feedback to this, even in a more "psychological" form.
Mistake me not, I know that I caused this but I need some help.

Thank you very much for reading.

I willingly turned it in as a DRK because i was tricked by a "friend" that i could change the weapon's class before starting the oil quest (230 step); it was naive by my side to don't doublecheck this information on google or this froum and i did this mistake.
I think that for some reason the One time item change per account should be extended to Anima/Relic weapons because some steps are huge and mistakes can happen. I'm not asking for free items, i'm asking to recover the time I spent on farming those 96 tokens and revert the Nothung in his original components at the cost of destroying it.
I know I was stupid but this is really making me quit

I can understand that, but I don't think you should "quit" over the Anima weapon mistake, especially if you like the game, because the steps will get nerfed eventually, and getting back to that step isn't going to take as long. Also, the Anima weapon is always a half step ahead of the weapon you can buy and upgrade at the vendor, which isn't that much. The true purpose of the Anima weapon and the old relic was that you could basically itemize it the way you wanted, and it isn't that big of a deal unless you run the latest 8-player content (Savage).
