Do those 30 dungeons solo with level-synch and they are not clearable. Do them solo without level-synch and they are too easy.I guess my only problem with that is, don't we already have like 30 dungeons that fill the same purpose? Even as low as lvl 17, there are like 3-4 dungeons you can do with low level friends already. Endgame is really lacking in FF14, hardcore or notThis COULD have been something to fill in some more medium difficulty content like people have been asking for, but it's not.
Deep Dungeon difficulty is where it have to be for solo challenges.
Don't know any other dungeons you can level solo.I guess my only problem with that is, don't we already have like 30 dungeons that fill the same purpose? Deep dungeon is great, got to lvl 30 with a full party in a couple of hours, can't wait to get to lvl 50! The floor that had 3+ minotaurs spawning in was real hectic. It's kinda Nyzul easy mode, but then again FFXIV is kind of easy mode in general and as far as FFXIV's content goes (especially everything not raids or primals) this is the most fun thing I've done![]()
I am actually enjoying it myself and if you have been struggling with a new class or one you havn't touched in a long time this is a good chance to re-learn the class starting from level 1.
my main issue is tha there is little to nothing to do outside killing stuff , traps arent visible at all (outside using that item) , 0 puzzles at all ,3 switchs that light on and 4th to open the door (add some movable jars for 1-2-3 players ) , or timing something (nyzul isle 100%) , u go there kill stuff that isnt even DUNGEON MOBS the hp is like overworld mobs , 2 shot everything and then the boss at 10th floor , only got to 41 and meh ....
items are cool more dmg , less dmg taken , transform into succubus (that doesnt scale is 300 dmg no matter what lvl , at least puts vuln to 5 stacks :P)
killing stuff mindless while searching for coffers.... put some jumps , some traps that need to ve avoided (fire (dots) , spikes (blees) , ice (snared) , make the dungeons DANGEROUS !
the best thing is hearing old dungeon themes :3
It is dangerous enough already. Go solo if you want challenge.

Going to wait few weeks see were this lands for content wise its new, so I'm waiting for that hype to die down abit before casting judgments although so far first impression it seems a very quick and very easy content with meh rewards.

No, we don't.I guess my only problem with that is, don't we already have like 30 dungeons that fill the same purpose?
The concept of Deep Dungeons is fundamentally different because it gives people something to work toward. The leveling dungeons that are already in the game are kind of one-and-done things with no worthwhile rewards for max-level players. Deep Dungeons, on the other hand, is an expandable content system that requires repetition to get through and ultimate rewards players with incredibly useful weapons that are viable for most of endgame.
The leveling dungeons still serve a purpose for farming tomes, but Deep Dungeons offers an entirely new dynamic for players of most levels.
If anything, that's what Diadem should do once it's revamped, but we'll see. SE choked on it so bad the first time, I'm not exactly holding my breath for them to do a complete 180.This COULD have been something to fill in some more medium difficulty content like people have been asking for, but it's not.
I think the Deep Dungeon is okay.
It's not revolutionary but it didn't flop as much as Diadem, so it gets a "Meh" from me. :B

I haven't done it with a party yet so i don't know how easy it is in a group though peeps doing it in a group are much further in than me. But Solo it's pretty challenging, quite a few instant KO situations in there. I can agree a little bit more variety couldn't hurt and i'm all for that so long as they don't nerf the difficulty.
