Erm what? when did i ask for this to be ffxi? the only person that trolling here is you, making up something thats not been said. People who ask for ths to be like FFXI mean the open worldness of the game etc. when you get a throw back like this, its content that will die fast and hard, It was said it isn't a rant but i guess you didnt get that far and just take what you want from the observation, and rewrite it into your own story, well then well done you, you succeeded at leveling up your +10 Douche

So, yes, I think they will complain all the time, no matter what they will get. That "you asked" goes for those who ask all the time for the damn FFXI stuff and their RNG dungeons. Sorry if that confuse you, but it is normal say this type of expresions in Spanish.

The thing is, this is not what they asked for. This content is, when you get down to it, just killing mobs over and over, like every other dungeon / raid in the game. Nyzul Isle was content that had varying objectives where the focus was getting to the next floor which did not always entail combat as the primary focus. People were asking for something like that to break up the monotony of XIV's singular objective of "combat, combat, combat" in content. They gave us Nyzul Isle in "combat, combat, combat" fashion without the objectives that made it interesting. So if you think this is exactly what people were asking for, you'd be wrong on that.

A bit off-topic, but I'm hoping that the Diadem revamp currently in the works places a lot more focus on gathering/fishing/exploring/interacting with the environment instead of just mindlessly zerging trash mobs.

I apologise then for my outburst, just felt like it was aimed at me. i was making an observation on the content and like most things on this forum, will be dissected until its not what was originally meant, like most people have said, its a marmite addition, some will love and some will hate. i personally dont feel like doing it because its already been done. its like 7 year old content with a dress on. again, i'm sorry.

Did the first 10 today while I had an extended morning home. It was fun, we got to a floor and we were all blinded. The traps, the items. I am guilty of being one of those that put my opinions based off of FFXI, and for this one I'm enjoying it. I'm not missing the individual stat decrease that you have to unlock or having spell casting restricted or abilities when you're a PUP or SMN..we did get silenced for 20 seconds or so and that was a bit scary..with a DRK / SCH / SMN / WHM party...

I don't mind it. Scholar is insane in there, I went in as white mage. Might take my AST in there to level it up. I like the random parts. If anything it shows that some of the debuffs aren't powerful enough, like the blind that was applied. Then again, next floor..haste.

pretty sure Nyzul Isle had a bigger purpose than just vanity and alt weapons.



correction, the first 50 floors are for the care bear crowd. They already said that this content has been deigned with much harder challenges in mind for the coming floors. Take that righteous casual fervor and check it plz.

Oh, so the content released is not for everyone? The statements about it being accessible are not there? Of course later floors will be harder, anyone who's ever played a dungeon crawler knows that, are you just trying to pick a fight? Even if floors 75-200 are harder, does thatnegate the accessibility of the other floors? Put your own fervor in neutral.
