So about dem 3.35 patch notes on PotD

Since it was not clarified in the notes... while you can start at the floor you left off as long as the party lives was it stated that you can only restart on boss floors every 10 floors or can you restart on the floor you stopped on? I'm guessing that once you clear a floor you have a stop and leave option but unless I misread it was not clarified if it was the same floor or the previous boss floor.

I also assume the padjal gear are the ones you get at floor 50 with a +30 weapon.

Progress is ONLY saved every 10 floors. If you clear floor 5 and leave, you start on floor 1. If you clear floor 10, you start on floor 11. If you clear floor 15, you start on floor 11.

From what I read, it sounded like it works a lot like Nyzul did in FFXI. That is, bosses will be every 10 floors and that's when you can save your data. For example. You'll start at floor one. Clearing floor 10 (so starting at 11) will be the first opportunity to save your floor progression data. You could only have floor progression data at floors 1, 11, 21, 31, and 41. Weapon and armor upgrades save immediately.

Also, yea since those Padjal weapons seem to be the only new weapons added, and no new armor I think it's safe to assume that that's what those are.

And this is probably not automatic. So if you missed touching that little pillar before leaving the instance, you still start at your last save spot, even if you completed the floor with the boss. SE always loves to entertain us that way. We will see, but mark my words there will be some stupid pillar, lamp, cross or whatever on the floor/wall/corner of that instance that you need to touch lol.

Nope, not automatic, you need to choose to save.
