Honestly speaking, depending on how enjoyable Palace of the Dead is... getting those ilvl 235 glowing weapons will either feel grind free or really grindy.
I still look forward to getting them.

seems like it will take 10 palace clears to get the mount and 3 for each minion :/
Furthermore, if you have strengthened your aetherpool arm and aetherpool armor to +30 in addition to reaching floor 50 of the Palace of the Dead, you can receive an aetherpool arm from the NPC E-Una-Kotor which can be used outside of the instance.
Since you can fail when strengthening your weapons/armor, and not every floor has a silver chest in it every time you're entering, I would say keeping in account that you need to re run probably some of the floors a couple of times, it might be equal to the previous relic step or similar to it. Meaning you probably have to spend a couple of days/weeks before you can buy the weapon at the npc. But we will see, still looking forward to it, since I wasn't gonna start relic 3 and 4 lol.
What I do like is how I can work on the weapon over the course of multiple save files. So while my upgrade chances are lower, I can still work on trying to get the arm to level 30 while playing with my friends. I got a friend who is a soon to be level 60 WHM who can benefit from this greatly if we get lucky.
What I do not like is how to do the side quest "Nightmares End" you need to be level 50 and complete floor 50, but floor 50 is inaccessible to level 50s that do not own HW as they're stuck with a max floor of 40. Which means they cannot do a level 50 side quest that is an extension of a level 50 storyline because they do not own the expansion.
All because you need to complete floor 50 as one of the conditions for the level 60 ilvl 235 weapon.
It's probably designed as the slightly grindy option. If you desire a 235 weapon faster you need to do Nidhogg Extreme. Depending on the stats of them though they would be worth it to some. I'll definitely shoot for a SCH one if it has crit even though I already have a Horde wep for SCH.
