They're adding jobs as specializations, we'll still have our classes, so I'm puzzled as to why you think this suddenly makes the classes be FF now.

I'm not trolling anyone. I was using the argument and turning it around on them. It's no big deal if a small amount of a server has these mounts, which is definitely going to be the case. How in the hell this breaks immersion is beyond me.

Jobs are coming and I wouldnt be surprised if classes were nixed fully befpre this game is gone. I mean seriously jobs are just better classes, so why have classes to begin with? Yoshi mentioned THF class ninja Job that makes no sense if Ninja is just a better defined thief. they are 2 seperate play styles. also archer/ brd 2 seperate play styles but yet a brd is a more defined archer? wow yea so much for all you people wanting to be ranged DD. They shoulda just changed the names of the current classes to FF jobs woulda been easier in the long run I think.

Judging from how many people claim they have dozens of friends waiting for PS3 release? Yes. I am hopeful.

Jobs don't substitute classes. Yoshi said this and I really don't see this becoming the direction. Regardless, we're going off-topic.

These responses are unbelievable. Why don't you go play a Final Fantasy other than XI, please. FFVII, S-E-V-E-N, the messiah of FF games, had a motorcycle, a dune buggy, cars, and an airplane. FFVIII had cars in the overworld. You might say FFVIII was bad, but I dare you to say FFVII was not canon within arms length of a true fanboi.

And Dragon Quest had magic carpets and they were damn cool.

would love to see any mounts in the game, but especially colored chocobos from breeding like in 11.

i had alot of fun getting each sex and color in my collection and think one day, that would be a very nice addition to the game.

monster mounts...wouldnt matter either way to me as i said, all mounts are fun. oo

i would also enjoy addition of a couple pets in game as well. NOT hundreds like in other games just a couple to choose from.
se does such a beautiful job with their artwork that a baby chocobo..or a tiny dodo hatchling along side would just be... cute.
