Dual saddle for Chocobos!!!

Dual saddle for Chocobos!!!
I agree with this. As this was about a gift to players for loyalty, I think the colored chocobo should not be the reward. Colored chocobos should be part of the game for every player, not just for those of us who stay on till 2.0. Armor for all your mounts, current and future, that would be a great reward. And I'm cool with the mob mounts as well, although riding a Gobbue... meh. A Peiste would be cool tho! Or a Boar! Or to be funny a Giant Crab! I have a feeling I would love to ride a Giant Crab into battle lol. But only if they make it walk sideways! And lastly to anyone who wants a Purple Choco, I'm with ya, I want one too! That THM was terrible at his job. I thought his incompetence was part of that storyline...
I'm all for debate and whatnot but we already have like 4 threads on this - surely this suggestion fits into a reply to one if not all of them.
We're talking about the reward for staying from now until 2.0. You're going to waste the entire future of colored chocobos on that? Save that for the chocobo breeding system and let everyone in on that.
This is limited-time, small-community, special reward - not basic requirement. Now, if our chocobo was given the limited time reward of always having Van Darnus armor for the rest of the game - better!

ANYTHING but monster mounts for the love of god
FFXIII had different species of Chocobo. The gran pulse versions were really awesome. They should make a comeback in FFXIV instead of stupid ahriman and whatever else stupid monster got the go-ahead from the dev team

Pretty sure nothing quite has the full go-ahead yet. Those were merely test ideas for special mounts.
Because for each "different" chocobo piece, you increase the amount of resources used by the system on top of having used resources required to give each piece of armor different looks based on the shape and size of a model they're being applied to.
Why make them breedable? what would it acomplish? This isn't really a farmsville, and its not a single-player game either, you'd hardly have anything but another thing to pointlessly gain EXP in.
I'm all up for different colors, but different sized limbs and breeding options seem just like a waste of time considering its just a means to getting from point A to point B faster.
Whoa now, some people like to think more of their chocobo than some kind of soulless transport slave.Because for each "different" chocobo piece, you increase the amount of resources used by the system on top of having used resources required to give each piece of armor different looks based on the shape and size of a model they're being applied to.

More relevantly, though, it's more than getting from A to B, since they will also be equippable and combat capable soon, as well as possible being able to carry items and other uses.
Customizing chocobos through breeding wouldn't just affect their physical appearance, but also their abilities and stats, which would affect transport and combat alike. Not to mention how cool it is to have a chocobo personally tailored to your tastes, and uniquely different than your friend's chocobo, etc.

Umm did you ever play or know anyone who played XI? They had breeding in there and the way you bred your chocobo determined a LOT of these above aspects. So unfortunately, you'll need to come up with another synopsis as to why this shouldn't be done. Oh and btw, there was no XP for you while breeding; it was basically a very intense and challenging mini-game.

Pft. Why destroy the FF lore for that feature? Different colored chocobos always had things others couldn't do. I do agree with you partially but I think there should be a the rare colors who have access to abilities that other do not. Such as making Black and Gold and some other colors ultra rare and give them special abilities that others do not have. Personally I would love to raise Chocobo and sell them and then like crafting have a super rare chance to get that HQ mount.I would be really happy if chocobo breeding is added with many different colours available. (But not just colours!.. Feather length, talon size, beak size, increased running speed perhaps! etc.)
I just don't want them to have abilities based on colour. I don't want to feel like I have to ride a colour I don't like to accomplish something. All abilities should be available to all colours. ^-^
I say bring in the special goobbue mount for a dedication reward im a Huge fan of various monster mounts. I do love chocobos and think we should have diff colors to have fun with/breed but I would also love the monster mounts specifically the goobbue ^^
I require a Donkey mount.... forget purple choco's and rainbow fish
