Hello,

I am looking for a server to make new friends, populated, friendly, and helps newer players out. I just begun playing FFXIV, and would like to find a server that is homely and right. Does anyone have any suggestions as to a good server?

Goblin is a pretty good server, it lacks one thing from your list and that is population Because its a smaller server, it's usually pretty active from 9am-1am eastern time.

I met some really good friends on goblin and if you choose our server your more then welcome to join our FC.

I would actually advocate Balmung if it is believable. I transferred there a couple weeks ago and have had some of the best times on FFXIV there. The atmosphere is pretty friendly and there's always people looking to help on there. Not to mention if you're looking to join Free Companies, there's a good amount of them that tend to advertise in the PF. Found one that is part of a bigger network in FCs and there's usually someone online willing to help.

Though as a warning because I wouldn't feel good unless I mentioned this. Balmung does have a reputation for Role-players and they are most prominently found in the adventurer guilds from my experience. However they haven't impeded anything from what I've seen so they can be ignored if you so choose.

If you go to Goblin, I will recommend two additional FCs you might be interested in joining. I used to play on Goblin but my entire FC decided to move to Gilgamesh because end game progression (dead party finder) became a real issue for many of our members.

Dark Lords Give Penny a wave for me.

Kupopolis I would say give Gem a wave for me but I'll just chat her on PSN.
