Moogle Quests / T5 Craft/Gather Materia

New beast tribe quests
Similar to the Ixal quests, these new quests will be crafting-focused quests. They will be quests that you can level from 50 to 60, and you’ll get the materials during the quests. If you’ve already reached level 60, you will be able to earn grade V materia. There will be story developments where a master who learned crafts from Ishgard talks about player memories.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who noticed that we were able to obtain some T5 materia through the rank-up quests, but those quests are finite, and now we're all bloodsworn. This post made me think that there would be ways to regularly obtain T5 materia as a level 60. This was a big disappointment to myself and my friends.

They will probably add them in during 3.4 when more of the new crafting/gathering things are released.

I agree with bass, however, I wish they wouldn't put information like that in the patch notes when it's not actually true.

I was disappointed as well.
I suppose they just meant that the moogle quests were still worth doing if you had all your crafters leveled already because you'd be able to get some grade 5 materia. The wording does kinda imply you'd get materia instead of exp for doing the dailies on a 60 crafter though.

Yeah I felt led to believe there would be some regular or repeatable way to get T5 in lieu of exp. Even if it was like a weekly method, like we can get one T5 battle materia per week from VA/WC.

The description in the patch notes certainly isn't very good.

I guess it could mean "At level 60 you'll be able to spirit bond level 60 crafting gear which can yield T5 materia."
