It would make sense that he doesn't like designing pet classes given how small the summoner pets actually are. With something like beastmaster, it would be even harder to give a realistic explanation as to why pets you control can only be a certain size within several fields that tend to get smaller over a period of time (i.e. titan extreme etc). I guess mch is a psuedo pet class though?

Honestly, that can be explained easily. In Ever Quest the pets got larger as you leveled up, and some pets got almost to the chest of a large race (larger than the human race) but they gave a shrink spell to beast masters and they could shrink it to be very small. They could do that (although some trolls might leave the big pet to get in the way) or they can simply say the spell/ability shrinks the pet to make it more mobile. Wouldn't be too hard to make an explanation.

Also, this is a fantasy game. Nothing is realistic.
