He never said he doesn't like them but that they are complicated to add and fear that new players would be overwhelmed with a true pet class. Pretty silly if you ask me.

I can't argue with how complicated they are to add but new players being overwhelmed is silly. Just lock the pet class until level 60 on another class or something. Problem solved. ^^

It would make sense that he doesn't like designing pet classes given how small the summoner pets actually are. With something like beastmaster, it would be even harder to give a realistic explanation as to why pets you control can only be a certain size within several fields that tend to get smaller over a period of time (i.e. titan extreme etc). I guess mch is a psuedo pet class though?

I said it before but they could always do Beastmaster or Puppetmaster but have them basically chained to you, they move with you and instead of you attacking your pet/puppet does the skills. Your weapon would be the chain/string that controls them. Granted be dps probably but let the moves have to charge perhaps as in you instruct the commands or orders for it to follow?

Honestly, that can be explained easily. In Ever Quest the pets got larger as you leveled up, and some pets got almost to the chest of a large race (larger than the human race) but they gave a shrink spell to beast masters and they could shrink it to be very small. They could do that (although some trolls might leave the big pet to get in the way) or they can simply say the spell/ability shrinks the pet to make it more mobile. Wouldn't be too hard to make an explanation.

Also, this is a fantasy game. Nothing is realistic.

it kind cool have a big kitty cat follow you around. look hullbreak hard mode would dungeon you have to get beastmaster after it unlocked it because place beastmaster can bring his or her pets to be there kind like guild wars one but it also have also you be able mulit of same couarl it kind like stable but bigger.

the antitower would be come puppetmaster work shop in a way

blue mage would be duel wield scimitars tank that build mp by melee attack and when he or she has enough mana she can activate a spell to buff her or himself. some spell would grate at buff for increase healing or buff his armor or his weapons. mage tank class or jobs are rare and far between in mmo. also she gain new spell by fight animals in wilds.

Never know, blu might get clubs if they come into the game since many people forget that they could use them lol. I believe DRK had higher skill in Scythe than Great Sword but the dev team chose to give DRK Great Sword in this game (not complaining). It does make me wonder what class would get a scythe in this game though. BST would probably dual weild axes.

I like see beastmaster weild a whip but not on animals more in combat because ff tactic they weild whips.
