Ironworks CS2 values at varying craftsmanship

Just finished a little project of mine that I've been working on. Hopefully this will help some people develop rotations, or at least have a more reliable reference when it comes to using Ingenuity II. I plan on contributing further datapoints at the 1100+ range, but I figured it was complete enough to share since most crafters won't realistically reach those values. I did not collect any Standard or Rapid synth values since I used a slightly modified version of Rath's rotation for every craft. Keep in mind this is for "3.5 Star" crafts only.

    Google doc

    Some observations I've made:
Ingen2 is not a flat multiplier. You can get two different progress values from CS2 under Ingen2 at different craftsmanship, even though the raw CS2 value remains the same. The final value appears to be rounded, but the hidden decimal is stored.
Ingen2 becomes more effective at higher craftsmanship levels. The difference between CS2s at 870 craftsmanship is 63 progress while the difference at 1094 craftsmanship is 79 progress.

It is very close to one, though. The boost attributable to Ingen II that you show varies from 52.1% to 53.7% - a little larger than is attributable to final rounding, since the maximum deviation from an estimate based on using 52.8985% (to get it centered) the is +/- 1.174.

Very good data to have, thank you for sharing it!

Oh I understand it is roughly a 53% gain, but I was just pointing out that you have to be careful when extrapolating data because you can't assume that the Ingen2 progress is tied to the raw CS2 progress. For example:

That's assuming that the 120 is what the game uses to multiply, instead of 120.xxxxxxx. Every data point on your chart works for any value between 52.64% and 52.77% if you assume truncation as the last step (and different values could replace those if you assume rounding or some other form of calculation)

But yes, you can't just multiply one rounded value by a number and assume the game does the same.

I'm not sure how to read at these numbers tbh. You don't seem to take into account at all the difference between your ilvl and the recipe-level (known as rlvl), which either grants some bonus, or some malus (whether you craft a recipe of higher or lower level).

I can't figure how you solved this, not knowing the Rlvl of crafts in 3.5.

They are for 3½-star synths (the ironworks gear), not patch 3.5 recipes.

Yes these values only apply to the most difficult recipes currently available. The crafting simulator is accurate enough for lower level recipes, but falls short when it comes to Ingenuity II on the most recently added ones.
