After so many weeks of Weeping city, why is it that the Haircut blank is still so damm cheap with her attack. Haircut is a half room aoe that if you get either kills you or does damage and a dot. I have not survived her encounter once since starting in 3.3 simply because each and every week she pulls some cheap move either haircut or i'm on the other side why dodging another of her mech. There was another time while dodging other mechanic and i was in a safe zone at the axe plant and i was far enough away from the garrote plant but someone triggered it and the entire group got sucked in. It isn't enough to recognize her hair turning black and then moving to the other side to dodge if she pulls off another attack to dodge.

The other aoe half room boss at keeper of the lake wasn't this bad. Either the haircut attack cast needs to be lengthen so people can get out of the way or the dot needs to be removed. As for ozuma, i don't mind him as much anymore however like with the cheap boss above i died this week because i was placing meteor and of course i had acceleration bomb on me. So either i eat the meteor or not place it.

As you can see this is a mechanics issue. I get it you wanted to make things harder but void ark was fine difficulty wise. Void ark's difficulty was based on doing mechanics right if you didn't absorb corruption on the third boss it did an aoe and kills raid. If you didn't turn around for petrify you get turned to stone. If your going to make things harder you have to have fine mechanics not have acceleration bomb and placing meteors on at the same time. Or having haircut while having to dodge another of her attacks at the same time. It is unfair to the player.

Except Void Ark wasn't fine, difficulty wise. It was a snorefest, and even Yoshi-P stated that the difficulty of Void Ark was too easy, during the E3 Live Letter.

For the haircut, you're not supposed to be dodging it when the cast happens, you're supposed to keep an eye on which side has a hair that turns into a huge blade-looking thing, with an obvious spawning animation. Then you move over to the other side of the boss. If you're having trouble dodging it after depth charge (since it's instantly followed by a haircut cast), again keep an eye on which side has the blade-looking hair and position yourself accordingly. If you're having trouble with the rare haircut that happens during the mace/axe tentacles, be sure to stick to the axe tentacle that's into the middle.

As for your acceleration bomb/meteor situation (which is something I've never seen, but I'll go with this hypothetical scenario anyway), you simply have to make sure that you're not doing anything/not moving when the bomb debuff falls off. You can still move to place the meteor. And in an extreme situation, you could always just sacrifice yourself by placing the meteor, since 1 death is better than multiple deaths from a misplaced meteor.

Egh, the only other mechanic that goes on during haircuts are the purple puddles, so if you do notice the changing animation, you can usually dodge in time - if your tank isn't incompetent or a troll that tries to wipe the raid on the last few percent to make their "lelWAR 5% solo clear" footage...

I do hate the whole being sucked into garrote thing, tho. Makes me wish I could strangle the person that stepped inside myself instead >.>

She telegraphs her moves before the cast. It's not that hard.

The haircut mechanic is easily cheesed by a competent tank. Tank simply needs to tank by a wall and face her so that the sidewith the blade is facing out of the arena. When the blade swaps he simply has to run through to rotate her 180 degrees and keep the arena safe. If the tank does this, the only time the cleave should be hitting any of the arena is right after she dashes. Literally only 1 person in the entire raid has to pay attention to the mechanic if done this way.

Haircut is terrible if you are far away from the servers. I connect to JP servers from Australia and for me to dodge Haircut I need to stand in melee dps range. It's even better when the tank has her against one of the side walls and her Haircut chooses the only side you have , wiped 90% of the raid with that one lol.

The devs need to think about lag more, they tested in a LAN environment with zero lag.

Why do people insist on standing to the side of her?

Stand in the middle for the whole fight, except for that dash attack.
