All good ideas, folks... can we come up with anything else that isn't necessarily a reboot of an old ability? Something new to add to a martial arts class's repertoire that might become canon?

Final Heaven
I want to see alot of kick attacks and footwork specials, as well as suplex moves and backflips ^^
I have been thinking about this recently and I thought maybe they could elaborate on Chi Blast and put in more Chi style abilities that maybe utilize MP. I could be a pretty cool thing if Monk could have some energy abilities, not to many though we don't want it to turn into Dragon Ball Z.
well since we look like we will get some magic access (our weapons can slot magic dmg up skills) I wouldnt be surprised to see some elemental fighting attacks. fire fists, wind kicks etc.
another thing i would add is and aoe counter skill, essential something like a spin kick that you can do while evading, i wouldnt give it insane dmg like storms path, but it would be a low tp fast recasting skill. or possibly make it do decent damage to the target and les dmg to things around it in a circle.
at one time i would say we should combo off criticals, but since dex no longer effects crits, and they say dragooon will be the critical mechanics dude.
so now.... hmmm.... the problem with spells, is they have cast times, which means whenever we cast a spell it has to be worth more, or add something to fighting, which will probably never happen, sooo i could see a skill/stance that either lets you continue to do other things while casting, or one that makes casting zero, but increases recast time by that much.
