I literally gasped when I first did Sohr Khai. It is the most beautiful environment I have ever seen in a game, and then I realized what music was playing, and I had ALL THE FEELS.

The cutscene sequence leading into Final Steps of Faith was also incredible. As I told my FC, I have never been so pumped to wipe two dozen times as I was at the end of that cutscene--and then the conclusion to the story was equally beautiful, both aesthetically and thematically. It makes me really eager to see what's coming next.

Aquapolis has been just downright all-around fun - I just wish there was some way to guarantee you didn't pick the wrong door (or maybe there is?).

I haven't done Weeping City yet, but the gear looks excellent, and the nickname it's earned among my friends ("Wiping City of Salt") has me excited to get in there and give it a shot.

All in all, for me (and most I know), this was an excellent patch with awesome new content, and storytelling quality on a par with the Final Fantasy games of old. The only piece that felt out of place was Hullbreaker HM. It's passable, in my mind, but it suffers from being released alongside other pieces of excellence.
