I'd prefer they just add any other alts on the same account to your friend list so they can be sent mail. There is no RMT going on when a second account isn't involved.

If you have a house and list something that you want ot send to your alt. Go on your alt and purchase it from your main's retainer at your house.

I've got a house for my alt and main and I'm able to transfer any items or gil. When bought from the retainer you don't lose any gil transfered. No taxes
