if you want me you'll find me in the eye of the storm
We can only hope, though if it's in any way limited in numbers like the UK promotion it'll be the same problem all over again. At this point, since I couldn't find a copy of GM anywhere (in London no less), there's no point even bothering with the next two issues since the mount isn't obtainable. But this means jumping on another country's promotion and possibly depriving them of a chance to get it.
At this point I'm just hoping they don't do this again in the future.
This could have been avoided, if they made it so buying a Mog Station item will give you a code, WIN/WIN for Square Enix and the players. I realy wanted the butler outfit, but the way its going right now, odds are I will not be getting it.We can only hope, though if it's in any way limited in numbers like the UK promotion it'll be the same problem all over again. Still no response :/ Updated the thread with your concerns
Yesterday, I spent from 9am until after 4pm in the city (York) where I live, trying to find places that stocked GamesMaster magazine. I went to the following retailers, TESCO, ASDA, Morrison’s, Sainsburry’s across the city, both the big major supermarkets and the smaller direct stores and not one of them had stocked GamesMaster magazine for a while. I double checked with as many staff as I could to see if it was just a one-time thing or otherwise and they all said similar things; it just doesn’t get that much interest.
Having done that, I then went to smaller retailers – places like W. H. Smiths, Game, HMV (the last two were a long shot, I admit) – the result was the same, bar one. W. H. Smith’s had sold out of GamesMaster within two days of it being stocked! The sales assistant that I spoke to told me that people had bought multiple issues, going as far as to offer to buy in bulk direct from the store. The same sales assistant also had no idea if/when they would be getting any more in stock and frankly, didn’t seem hopeful at all.
After that, I decided to check out newsagents across the city – some had heard of the magazine but hadn’t stocked it due to lack of interest, but most had not and even had to look it up online to see what I was talking about.
TLDR: SE really has messed up and GamesMaster has played us all for fools.

I really don't think that they care about how many people were able to get their rewards, GM magazine got sold out and that's the goal of the whole promotional thing.
So writing how many stores you visited and how many people you asked just proves they can do whatever they like and people will still pay.
Only way to teach them would be, if no one bought the magazine, but this obviously isn't our case.
Can't wait to see the Reddit Threads / In games PF "selling maid outfit for X$"
Never wanted to buy it, but still feeling so sad for you guys :/
People don't know how to take criticism anymore, and bad play is rewarded with with a coddling mentality. Yes, this is a casual game for the most part - that doesn't mean people need to walk on eggshells in fear of getting reported for pointing out things. This whole 'please don't say anything even slightly negative' mentality that we seem to be going towards and the devs seemingly pushing towards it is creating a disturbing trend.
I did expect this to happen, players have expressed many times that they are willing to pay for those items from the cash shop, so I reckon some players probably thought a nice way to make extra money is buy the magazine with the codes and sell them at higher price later when magazines are sold out and players start to become desperate. The sales assistant that I spoke to told me that people had bought multiple issues, going as far as to offer to buy in bulk direct from the store. I hate to commend someone for doing something bad, but this is pretty smart of them. If they play their cards right, they might sell those outfits for 15-25 euro and knowing how popular this outfit was + no other way to get it, I think some players will buy it.
