So. Large parts of Europe are now officially locked out from the the codes I guess.

Here's hoping that they bring something to the EU regions to get these items. Hopefully they will announce something about it for the EU Fan Fest, maybe.
Its especially bad if one takes a look at the Chinese (?) cash shop..and see that they got the butler set there (if I remember it correctly). Why is all of this possible in their version but such a problem in ours? I mean all the work and time SE could have saved by just putting them there..they even could have been there a limited time only and maybe even put them there at the same time in the JP and NA version..everyone would be happy. :/ And yet even after all the anger that they caused with us customers they dont even manage to post once in a while in this thread. Letter from the Producer LIVE Part IX Q&A Summary (10/30/2013)
Q: Will there be any maintenance fees or other costs for housing, besides the cost of the land and house?
A: In older MMOs, such as Ultima Online, there was a house maintenance fee you had to pay weekly, but in FFXIV: ARR we decided against this system. Similarly, these older MMOs also had a system where your house would break down if you didn’t log in after a while in order to have you continue your subscription, but this is a thing of the past and we won't have any system like that.
Hope for u have some news for ur countries soon :/
What ? chinese cash shop have it ? hope they put in cash shop of each server too soon ... they break hope for some countries like italy and its very sad ;(
The Chinese and Korean servers are a separate entity. Don't hold your breath that we will get it. At least not yet. Maybe in a year or so, if we're lucky. It was a promo and people went through a lot of hassle to get these items, so putting them on Mog Station immediately after the promos have ended would be a slap in the face to many players who went through hell to get them.
I mean, the Chinese and Korean stores have items like the Moogle cap, which was a 2.0 preorder exclusive and rest of us will never be able to get it. So yeah... SE rarely puts promo items in the cash shop for us.
Its very sad for us and them :/
When we buy a game in each country, we need to get the same luck :/
They want us to accept jump potion but no give a way to get items some of us not got like moogle costum etc. ;(
i see new players coming but they will never get some items olders have. Same me iv not some items...like this moogle cap etc.
Well just in this thread lots of people wanted it in the cash shop and only a small amount of players were against it. The only ones that had to go through a lot to get them were the players from European countries. JP only had to buy some drinks and the NA had the easiest one with the amazon promotion. But in the end it does not matter what we want or think about it. :/ SE does not care how their customers feel about it..that is shown quite strongly in this thread. Barely any answers and even after promising more information for that one still open country they did not do so.

I can't help but feel that, once again, the European market is being treated as an afterthought, like it has so many times in the past. And not just by SE - other game companies have been guilty of this too - but it took ages for us to get an actual EU server, and then this mess of a promotion full of broken promises and barely any response to our concerns at all...
I wouldn't hold my breath. At one of the Live Letters there was a greeting directed at North American and Japanese players. Europeans weren't acknowledged, which seems pretty minor in the grand scheme of things but makes me wonder how differently this predicament would be handled if it was affecting Japanese and/or North American players instead of European players.
This thread has been active for quite some time now and very little information has been given to us. We've had a few official replies, certainly, but nothing to alleviate the concerns of those of us who missed out through no fault of our own.
What we need to do is to remain civil and continue keeping this thread active. Perhaps even start sending polite feedback through the relevant channels (is there some sort of official place for feedback beyond this forum?).
There is a pretty big EU team, I don't know why half of the EU countries have just been forgotten.
