Depending on what you see as sparse. Not everyone lives in a big city or near one. For some 80km (in total) might not be so much, for me this is quite the way to drive for the next Gamestop to maybe get some codes..I would have bought something online but it seems that long line of mistakes from SE continues and it does not include online shops even though its says so on the lodestone..really if I already have lots of disappointed customers..one should a least triple check if the campaigns are without mistakes in their description.

Im from spain and im really dissapointed, do something about it, sell it in the moogle cash shop at least, at the end you had to use your cash to obtain them in the other countries anyways, so, whatsup with the exclusive matter?

I had certain trust in the FFXIV Square-enix team and things like this makes it go down, so please at least pass our dissapointments to Yoshi-P...

Would defeat the purpose of a promotion + you could always ask a friend etc.

Not allow people of X country to participate because the company is unable to find a way.

Not everyone know someone who is willing to pay 20 or 30€ for an item for someone else.
If SE isn't capable of make a real promotion, they should just add the item to the MogShop and let everyone have it.

Honestly this whole campaign has been a fragmented mess. It would have been much better to go with one big internationally selling company instead of trying to make small deals with small local companies that sell out of their promotional stuff in a day.

let me give you some numbers: there are 7 gamestops in munich, but from there on there are zero to its south or east up to the austrian border, meaning if you are living in that area (like me), the next one is in munich, which can be up to 150km away (well in some spare cases a shop in austria would actually be closer, but still comparably far away). and that is just one region, the situation is similar all over germany. germany is quite a big country, 100 shops is not nearly enough to cover it well.

not everybody can casually drive 100+ km just to get some bonus items!

if it were not for the fact that i work in munich and drive there over one hour (one way) every day, i would have had to skip it (but as the timing is good with a certain game releasing today that i wanted to buy anyway i will just snatch the promo items as a bonus)

gamestop was NOT a good choice. especially because online ordering does not give the codes (wtf??)

and on top of that, this is the last of the EU events with 2 regions getting none? aside from france (with amazon), every EU region got a really bad deal! SE, you really disappointed here!!!

If they could at least have told te countried that don't get a promotion now sooner... Guess I'll have to creep around GameStop now to ask people if they need their codes to get enough for my friends, for myself i still need something from there anyway, but for my friends me getting them codes is pretty much their only option now...

The biggest problem was always communication. Because they were still negotiating deals, people in regions without their own promotion were kept waiting and missed the campaigns they could actually have used. And then there were cases like the UK magazine where customers in other countries could have participated except that it was announced too late to mail order the first issues, making it actually impossible unless you happened to have a UK-based friend who happened to live in a location with a shop with multiple copies in stock (I had to travel an hour away from home for mine). If the Amazon France campaign had come after the admission that all of the other countries were out of luck, people could have tried their luck with Amazon France instead of waiting and being disappointed. I got my items but I would wholly support a cash shop alternative for people who weren't so lucky as this whole event has been exceptionally frustrating to follow as a customer outside NA/Japan. The codes should never have been region locked in the first place if the majority of countries worldwide were going to have to make weird global arrangements on varying deadlines just to participate at all.
