How incredibly LAME is that? So what you are telling me, is that if I am approaching a 2-3 foot cliff that I can't walk up, if I try to jump it my character will just hit an invisible wall?

That went in the completely wrong direction with this. I was hoping jumping would be Zelda style, where you can only jump in places where you would have to. I was AT LEAST hoping if they went with mainstream jump wherever the fuck you want, that it would have PURPOSE.

Ooops, I think you just caught the tail end of this conversation. Jumping when it comes out in 2.0 won't be cosmetic only as they'll have redesigned all the maps for it. If they added jumping prior to 2.0 then it would be purely a cosmetic thing.

...I really don't see the point of a cosmetic only jump. I don't know about you, but when I jog down the street, I do stay pretty stuck to the ground. I don't get a sudden urge to jump randomly. Maybe I'll skip if I'm feeling REALLY happy that day, but I never just randomly jump.

Actually, when I walked down a slope once I wanted to double-tap jump so I could spread my wings and glide down the rest of the way... IRL, true story.
