So, do you PvP in FFXIV? I'm in the "stop wasting development resources on this" side of the argument, but then again, to each their own. Where do you fall?

(Also, we know that if they stop development on PvP, they will likely transfer development to more urgent Balmung-related issues like cat sleeping poses or FC stages for cat Shakespeare).

Just because you don't do/like PvP doesn't mean they need to "stop wasting development resources on it". People still play it, Aether data center does about 4,000 games a month (Japan does about 7,000 a month, but they also really like PvP over there).

The thread is about seeing who does/doesn't do PvP. My opinion is moot, I just said what camp I'm in. The final question in the introduction is, "where do you fall".

Tried PvP for a while, saw it as a total waste of time, never looked back.

Imma BLM. PvP is not for me.

I am also a DRK which I hear if you see a DRK you pretty much wasted a slot.

Also locking actually useful skills to PvP is lame.

Only PvP thing I liked was Seal Rock and it's kinda dead.

I like pvp, some modes more than others though. I will say that I often would cap weekly tomes just from pvp rather than running any dungeons at all.

I don't pvp because everything I like about Black Mage makes it abominably awful to play in pvp and I don't like to "main" more than one class at a time. That being said, I appreciate this is one of the few games that can separate pvp/pve nerfs unlike so many others and so it'd be a shame to waste that which should be an example to other MMOs. I think the PVP system needs an overhaul. I view this as a PVE game with PVP tacked on for people to do when they have nothing else to do. I would never recommend this game to people who primarily like to pvp and that is a problem in my opinion.

So I'm team stop wasting resources on pvp content unless they overhaul the system and make pvp/pve on equal footing somehow.
