Square Enix are you not violating your own ToS? "3.2 Disruption. You may not in any way disrupt or interfere with the Game experience of other players, including the disruption of Square Enix's computers and servers."

I say this because once my FC and I had hopes for a house, the game itself dropped lamps, doors, wallpaper, all manner of housing items on us building up the hype to get a house. We had just about achived our goal when the new clarification of "No buying from players" went through. On servers like Balmung where the population is massive there is no other way TO buy a house EXCEPT through players. So now at this point my FC sits on its thumbs with enough gil saved up and a bank full of housing items but SE has blocked out all paths to get housing. So again I say, are you not violating your own ToS?

Can we not have player sales back? Yoshi P said on the live letter that outrageous prices were bad but never said ALL player selling was prohibited, that was only later by GMs.
I can buy a fang off the market board for 100gil and put it back up for 9999999999gil just fine. Doesn't mean anyone's going to buy it, but at least its there. Let us have a chance with housing

If adding more wards and plots is too stressful for the server then why not build in a means in which the player can resell the house to the server, and players can see this sale and buy it?

But for the love of the 12 stop blocking us with housing when the game so obviously drops so much housing items into your lap.

This constant housing moaning on here is getting old. It's the same thing over and over and over again.

We need to make one housing mega thread so everyone can air their grievances in a centralized location so 20 new housing QQ threads stop appearing each week.

The amount of posts only shows how serious the problem is. Im sure many of us would love to post wonderful SS of our houses or talk about decor but frankly we cant.

Your best bet is to probably hold out until housing reclamation gets turned back on (July 19th - patch 3.35). Although they haven't released details yet it seems likely they'll just start the 45 day timer from that point so at which point you and your FC have a chance to get a house. Good luck!

Reclamation wouldn't need to be a thing if SE did housing properly.

The solution:

Private Instanced Housing for Individuals. A parcel of land tucked somewhere in the three main nations (a small island off of Limsa, an Oasis outside of Ul'dah, etc...) that the individual can invest gil into to expand (small, medium, large), and then decorate as they please. It's instanced, like private rooms, so no greater of a strain on the servers than private rooms are now.

Then, make the Districts into FC exclusive housing.

Its called wit dear. Catchy enough for the reader to keep reading. I wont go into how normally the GMs also push the "I agree to the ToS" button same as any of us. Regardless, the point of the thread is that Housing is broken and needs to be FIXED.

you are 100% correct.
Housing needs many changes to become in my opinion, acceptable, enjoyable and long lasting fun.

Availability being the first need which has been poorly met.

Never give up the posts nor the new threads if need be, there is a huge thread on housing ideas and requests already yes, but the majority of excellent suggestions there are not being dealt with either so I have no issues with people reposting problems that are still not fixed adequately.

/agree with the thread and also the 1255 posts in the other thread....you are falling way behind se!!!
