I actually had to help a newbie escape the horrors of a very inappropriate novice network chat because they were ready to quit (this was apperently their first MMO) and then proceeded to teach them how to use the blist function

You can remove inappropriate conversations by removing the people participating in them. It's forbidden in the rules to use language that makes people really uncomfortable.
