What happened to the mystery, the intrigue, the thrill of figuring things out on your own? What's next, we being able to see the damage amounts on skills? The game would be boring if we knew a skill added 200 damage to our normal attack and etc.

If they keep this up the game will be ruined and filled with WoW kiddies looking for a new game to infest and cry that things are too hard.

Yes, because eating some food, opening your Attributes tab, and taking note of the difference before and after is so mysterious and intriguing. The elitist min/maxers figured out damage formulas, and had BiS gear sets figured out as soon as new gear came out in XI. There was no mystery or intrigue. There was only ignorant players who thought their "lol my $15 a month" gear/SJ/strategy etc. was fine.

Also, I'd be fine with dynamic tooltips that displayed damage. That way I don't have to alt+tab out to go read about the poor guy who hit 50,000 level 1 mobs to figure everything out. The world and story should be mysterious and intriguing. Not things like stats, abilities, and fundamental game mechanics.
