Are the relic/anima weapons even trying anymore?

even for casuals it brings little to no meaning besides being a Glamour, most casuals don't even raid, so they don't need the difference in DPS from i230 to i240, that is if they can even DPS properly to see the difference.

In that case why should casuals even bother capping lore or really doing anything to get geared... at the end of the day it's because people want newer and better gear. That's the reason a number of raiders I know raid, rather than some sense of challenging themselves.

That said, the raid gear doesn't really offer anything aside from bigger stats and overdesigned gear; hence why many I know have stopped raiding once they figured out this is how it's going to go.
