Getting a Primal in Leveling Roullette is Better than the Cactpot Lottery

SE, would it be possible to move any/all primals that have a correspondence to the MSQ into leveling roullette while still keeping an exclusive trial roullette?

I think both roullettes could/should still have HM primals, but it at least would add some variety into leveling roullette and could provide an extra xp boost. Just a thought.

Queuing up for leveling roulette to get Garuda (normal) is like winning the lottery for the day. 5-7 minutes in and out. No 45 minute Vault runs with people still learning their role, just a quick primal and helping people move along in the story.

EDIT: Just to clear this up, the 4-man primals are in leveling roullette, and to my knowledge, not the 8-man. The request is to add any/all primals that are part of the MSQ into leveling roullete, not just the original three.

The story mode primals are in the leveling roulette. Though it doesn't happen often, I've gotten Ifrit (normal) on trial roulette and then got Titan (normal) on leveling roulette. Personally I get disappointed when I get one of the trials for my leveling roulette as I don't get as much experience points out of it.

Like Ravana and Bismarck are in Leveling roulette... as is all the 2.0 regular mode primals.

Your bonus is adjusted to award more bonus points if you get a trial, so it ends up being similar in the end.

Reading the above - the four man primals are in levelling roulettes and any that is eight man is in trial roulette. So normal Ravana is in trial roulette and not levelling while Ifrit story is in level roulette and not trial roulette.

Would be nice to see all fights like that in trial roulette tho :P

No, no it's not. Not even close. Maybe in exp/hr, if you chain run it, but for your single leveling roulette for the day, getting a trial is a big fat Whammy of no exp.

Getting a Trial in the leveling roulette is great because in 5 min you will be done get your fixed percentage bonus and can move on to running the highest level dungeon available to you for proper dungeon exp. It saves you time otherwise used up in a dungeon that gives barely any exp for your level that does nothing but eat up rested xp bonus.

Getting a Trial in the leveling roulette is great because in 5 min you will be done get your fixed percentage bonus and can move on to running the highest level dungeon available to you for proper dungeon exp. It saves you time otherwise used up in a dungeon that gives barely any exp for your level that does nothing but eat up rested xp bonus.

But, rested experience is based on a percentage of levels. I think the maximum is set as 2.5 levels worth of experience points (or, to state in another way, a total of 250% of the experience you will gain is basically stored as rested). So, it doesn't matter if you gain small amounts of experience at a time, or large amounts at a time, the total gain of bonus experience is the same as measured as a flat percentage or as a measure of progress toward the maximum level. It will just take you longer to use up your rested experience if you gain small values at a time.

This is, of course, assuming you gain zero rested experience from the point that you reach the maximum value of rested experience, until you consume all of the bonus. We know that doesn't happen since everyone idles in a Sanctuary which continually accrues rested experience.

Sometimes it's nice getting one of those trials, you prep for yourself for some boring lowbie dungeon crawl and get a primal that only takes 5-10 minutes at most.
