Challenge Log Xp needs a big boost

Some things in the challenge log you can't help but complete while leveling, such as dungeon roulette.

Other items require you to go a bit more out of your way, such as 10 unique FATEs, and FATEs from 5 different zones; as well as 5 and 20 levequests.

The xp awarded for completing these criteria is far too low; it comes out to roughly 6% per challenge log (4% for the lesser bonuses) of your xp bar, but it's for the week. That ends up at <1% of your xp bar per day.

Compare that to the bonuses for using the daily roulette, which combined offer roughly 65% for pre 53, and around 30% from 53-60. That's every day.

These challenge log bonuses should boosted to at least 5x their current value, as they can only be obtained once per week; and the bonus would still be roughly half that of the roulette bonuses obtainable every day. Personally, I think they should be boosted to 10x their current value; and doing them each week would be like cramming in an extra day of duty roulettes at the end of the week.

Currently, these challenge log bonuses are so small that often it's not worth breaking away from a FATE party in a relevant zone to obtain them. Aside from the dungeon log bonuses, which will be gained anyway as daily roulette bonuses are collected, it's ultimately less xp per hour to fulfill the challenge log criteria that grant an xp reward compared to dungeon grinding (for tanks and healers) and FATE grinding.

For a game that encourages replaying the 1-60 leveling phase multiple times, most the avenues for bonus xp are underwhelming; and efficient means for leveling have a severe diversity problem.

    Money and XP for nothing?

Given you could beat multiple low level FATE with your eyes closed, why would the XP or gil rewards need to be increased? It's already a substantial chunk, any more and you're more or less awarding levels to players just for existing.

I think the only thing needed is a fix to the scaling of the 50-60 DoW/M challenge logs, as the 1-49 ones are fine.

Currently, the lvl 1-49 rewards scale with the players level:
15% exp reward from: Feeling Lucky (3 dungeons through Duty Roulette), both FATE logs, both levequest logs,
10% exp reward from: Dungeon Master (5 dungeons), You're the Hest Around II (10 guildhests),
5% exp reward from: You're the Hest Around I (3 guildhests)

At 50-51, those suddenly drop to 9.75%, 6.5%, and 3.25%. Past 51, the rewards are the same as the 50-51 ones, and stop scaling with level (84.3k, 56.2k, 28.1k)

The crafting and gathering challenge logs seem to be fine, as those have the same scaling from 1-60. As a sidenote, this also makes the Meld Your Heart (meld 5 materia) challenge log great for leveling, now that it's possible to do melds as a DoW/M, since it'll give 10% of a level, even at lvl 59.

A lvl 59 player will get 2.16% of a level from the DoW/M log with the highest reward, 0.72% from the one with the lowest reward. I wouldn't really call that a substantial chunk.

25% for the week is very low in a game with 13 combat classes; and for a game that encourages leveling multiple classes. You're looking at 3.6% of a bar each day for a possible 560 bars to get 13 classes to level 50. Then that rate only gets steadily worse for the remaining 130 bars of xp to take them all to level 60. That's abysmal.

Multiply them all by 4, and add scaling for 50-60. Completing these challenges shouldn't result in players wondering if it was worth the time to stop FATE grinding in a level relevant area, or to stop spamming the DF for a level relevant dungeon; the answer is that it isn't.

Going out of our way to do these challenges equates to a quarter of a bar for the week? No, give us a whole level.
