2nd chat long

I organized my UI to have a second chat box exclusively for party and tells. During combat it was getting hectic to monitor all the fast moving text with just one box!

Recently the words are not maintaining the size of the chat box. If I type more text than the length of the box, rather than moving onto the next line, the text just expands the box off to the right of the screen. After which it refuses to let me adjust it's left to right size(yes the UI is unlocked and able to be moved and adjusted)

Anybody have any ideas?
