What do you think about being allowed to have a version of Market Boards and Delivery Boxes inside houses and private chambers?

I'm trying to find where they said it, but I'm sure I remember reading (about 2 years ago) that they didn't want market boards in houses because they wanted people to be social/meet up outside.
Not sure what you mean by delivery boxes though... moogle mail delivery? How would the postman get in? He's not on my approved tenants list :P
Inteesting, there is a point for Market Boards, though the social part I guess mostly work on cities, since in some residential areas Market Boards are almost always out of people.I'm trying to find where they said it, but I'm sure I remember reading (about 2 years ago) that they didn't want market boards in houses because they wanted people to be social/meet up outside.

Yes, The Moogle Mail Delivery. haha, well, the game is full of magic, and moogles teleport don't they? I guess they could come out with a solution easily XD
Personally, this is exactly why I don't want market boards inside houses. I love meeting my neighbors outside at the MB, it makes it feel like more of a community!![]()
Exactly. Although convenient I would not want this. It's almost the ONLY way neighbors run into one another. The mini aethernet crystals make it bad enough, although I admit that not having those would be very inconvenient.
I would personally love having a MB in the house. It gets pretty annoying to be working in the shop and realize, darn I need 3 more of X item.
Leave shop
Leave house
Run to MB
Buy item X
Run to house
Enter House
Enter Shop
A house MB would save multiple instance loading and running times.
The social factor of a public MB is only valuable if you have neighbours that bother to socialise. I personally do not.
I speak, they do not respond. I sit by the MB crafting away, and like 5 others are just emoting each other with no public textual interaction.
Of the previous 4 house I have been apart of (5 total now), only one of them had this over glorified social interaction.
I see maybe 1 person every few days around the ward mb near my home, that is a busy day!...I fail to see why or how it would ruin socialization in any waylol
Mind you I don't mind heading out to use the mb, what I would like to see though is the removal of the god awful confirmation box every time I want to leave or enter my home. its so unnecessary se omg...who actually thought it was a good idea..i would love to talk to him. It has to be instanced sure...but no need for the confirmation when I'm at the door clicking on it!! Oo
♥ MORE HIGH HEELS + INSTANCED HOUSING! ♥!
I also would not support MB inside homes. Having to go to a city, a hub or even the residential zones already existing outside MB creates a more social atmosphere and incentivizes people to meet their neighbors and interact with them more. I also do not see the point of a mog mail inside the house when you can already have one in your personal garden or your FC's garden. I do support removing the confirmation box when entering or leaving the house but the workshop confirmation box can stay since when click that one it leads to more than just one place/room aka workshop and FC members quarters unlike the house door which is just a two way interaction of either outside the house or inside.

It would ruin socialization for some, though. A neighboring FC of mine is a large group of good people and I see at least 5-10 of them at any given time outside, plus some from other nearby FCs (the MB/retainer bell is directly in front of my FC house). I run a small FC, for personal reasons, so this is a great way to chat/emote/socialize with other players outside my regular chat channels.
