I'm the opposite.
Quite frankly, I don't really care about my rank at all, because I know that I don't play enough for me to ever get to the top. I just don't have the time. That said, I really do enjoy having a rank because it gives me some marginal sense of progression. I like having a personal score that I can keep track of at the end of each match. It makes me more invested in the outcome.
That said, I do think that they have to adjust the way ranking is handled in order to avoid stagnation in the top 100 ranks. No one should ever feel like they're "done" playing Feast while the season is still active, but I do prefer having at least some kind of ranking system in place to encourage steeper competition and game depth beyond the matches themselves.
Do you suggest for melee to sit back first 15 seconds every encounter with a warrior? What kind of gameplay is this. Warriors as tanks should be able to take a lot of damage before dying (perfect for base defence etc) but not kill much easier than proper dps jobs.
OP = WAR, AST, BRD, MCH
I really wouldn't consider Push Back/Vengeance as a point of OPness... If being "forced" to ignore a target is a terrible mechanic, we should probably drop Attunement for the same reasons, no? The only situation where I can see Push Backs damage actually being a significant enough problem is in a 1 on 1 scenario, which I find perfectly fine... Any other situation and it's nothing... You either have enough back up for it not to really matter, or you have enough enemies that you can focus on someone else...
Warrior perhaps needs a nerf to its damage, but I really don't think Vengeance should be the focus of that... Tanks should still be able to kill though, the only time they should be buying time and holding out longer than other Jobs is when they're alone and outnumbered... The sturdiness tanks have should really serve pushing more than defending though, they should be able to push through enemy lines and actually threaten (be it through burst or debuffs) the weaker roles that hang back, that's what their defense should be allowing for... I don't think 72 man really works for that though, I really wish SE would scale back to 24/48 only (I found 48 much more interesting than 72), though ideally I'd prefer Wolves Den to take over with some more objective based 8v8 style content...
I suggested that the typical melee should use their brain for once, instead of blindly tunneling in or hitting a WAR that is taking 30% less damage and reflecting up to 230 potency attacks back every attack. The fact that you refuse to wait it out and just want to write it off as WAR being OP is literally making me laugh out loud at this moment. If you didn't know, PLD/DRK also get Push Back (reflect up 180p attacks). if you can't be asked to use common sense (the avg melee doesn't have this), go monk and take it off.

I wouldn't bother with that (Evangela) guy. He thinks every job that isn't Ninja (His main) is OP.

I always giggle when I see someone try to burst down a tank, WAR or not, that has their CDs up, and get completely wrecked. It's even more of a joy when I'm that tank, watching some derpy melee smash themselves into say, my Hallowed Ground?I suggested that the typical melee should use their brain for once, instead of blindly tunneling in or hitting a WAR that is taking 30% less damage and reflecting up to 230 potency attacks back every attack. This is why I don't find tanks fun though and will never use my WAR in PVP. Totally takes the joy out of killing dps when the odds are stacked in your favor from the get go.
