Cannot initiate Ixali Beast Quests

So... I really want this Direwolf mount.

I'm a little new (I used to play, but recently came back after a couple years.) I'm in love with all the new updates and mounts. I've been trying to be super patient. I got my monk past the required quest to be able to speak to Scarlet in New Gridania .-. but the quest is unavailable.

I noticed that you need to be at least a level 1 disciple of the hand... and my char is also like a level 4 Leatherworker... So, I think the quest should be available by now? Am I doing something wrong? I've tried looking up any answers, but nobody seems to be having this issue.

Hopefully I am just being dumb and missing something really obvious... >__<

U have to actually switch to ur crafting class to accept ixali quests

There are some more requirements. For unlocking the ixali beast tribe quests you have to get past a level 42 main scenario quest (don't know which one) and a battle class level 42+.
After unlocking the ixali quests you can only accept them if you are a crafter and to craft the items for the quests you have to equipe the ixali gloves.
