It's what they seem to be doing with the rest of the game. Yoshida keeps trying to make everyone happy. May as well try for this too. If it doesn't work out, then leave it as it is.Trying to make everybody happy is always a recipe for failure. Giving everybody what they want cannot be beneficial for FFXIV's long-term survival. Mostly because it is simply not feasible. We have to assume the people making this game at least have half a mind better than we do about what makes an MMO work. Because it is an MMORPG, it needs to work for everybody universally, not everybody individually. And that can't happen giving everybody the option X, Y, and Z in every instance. At least not while preserving the foundational rules of the game. Unless they want to turn this into Final Fantasy Tycoon. In which case... **** it.
