Well hell I wouldn't force it on anyone. I see the amount of people against it and I totally respect their side and opinion.
I just see a way where we can possibly both have what we want without pissing each other off.

Please enough with the troll flames, these are irrefutable factual evidence.

If you look up the weapons Dragoon Lance (FFVII & FFXIII), Dragon Whisker (FFIV), Wyvern's Lance (FFII), and Dragon's Hair (FFIX), plus there is more.. They are of course exclusive to Dragoons. They all have jump, and they all have some sort of dragon-like abilities they perform on their own, and once more they don't have pets..

The one thing I loved about Dragoon as well as the Armor is the Wyvern... That's my opinion.


Yes I see that the job is a lancer who kills dragons but the thing is.. that I am very attached top my wyvern and I just don't want to be a Dragoon if I don't get my own dragon.

No I have played other FF games but I just a DRG at heart in FFXI and I just have a very strong attachment with my Wyvern and I just don't want FFXI to be the only one that has the Wyverns as a pet.. That's just me.

Q: Will dragoons have a wyvern?
A: After 2.0, we are thinking about having them use their breath ability when you jump. However, as I answered in the interviews, I think you all really would like to fight alongside a wyvern pet. With a dragoon having a pet wyvern, battle balance will be necessary for both master and pet, and as a result the dragoon itself might become a bit weaker. We would like to hear your feedback on this before we make any final decisions.
