Main quest no longer in Journal/quest log

So, my main quest line is no longer showing up. I didn't abandon it, it doesn't say I can anyway. How can I get the main quest again?

The last main quest I did was "Spirithold Broken" (lvl 9 quest)

Also I might have abandoned the class quest by accident but that doesn't matter once I Reach level 10?

The next quest is "On to Bentbranch" from Mother Miounne at the Adventure's Guild. Normally the next MS quests will be offered by the NPC you turn a MSQ into or one standing right next to them. They are the ones with the flame/meteor icon. Do keep up with your class quests though, since those give you abilities.

Press J if you play with keyboard, otherwise go to your journal and take a look. Since the last patch, you can now hide the quests you don't want to be displayed. Make sure all quests in that journal are marked and not show with a red ignore sign.

Otherwise check as Naria said, the npc next to the npc you turned your quest in. Or again press J (open your journal) go to the completed tab, and take a look at the quests to see if you actually completed them.

Job/Class quests do matter, but you get them every 5 levels. if you abandoned that quest, next time you see your class/job trainer you're able to pick up the quest prior and need to complete that before picking up the new one.

The active quest help can only show 5 quests at a time. So if you forced(possibly without meaning too - not too hard to click on an icon in the journal) it to show that many other quests the on screen help wouldnt show your current MSQ quest. New quests usually go straight to the active help too, so if you accepted a bunch of new quests you might have accidently hidden the MSQ step youre on. You can still do it though, whether its showing or not. Check your journal for what you have to do next, and go do that.

It's literally impossible to abandon Main Scenario quests. Don't worry.

*nod* Whenever you complete a main scenario quest, you should expect another to be offered. If you don't see one immediately offered to you, take a look around the area. The confusion you describe is not terribly unusual if you can't accept the next quest due to insufficient level, but both your last completed and next available quest are Level 9 in this particular case.
