Will we ever be able to add our alts on same account to each other's Friend List?

Although you see your request as being different from what was mentioned by the previous person, they are interconnected and is why your request will probably not see the light of day. Many threads have been made requesting if alternative characters on the same account could be added to friend list and I believe the closest reason as to why the development team did not want to do it was because of RMT exploits. One can hope that it will change in the future but it is seeming highly unlikely.

There's a lot of times I see when something is lost in translation. Like when people ask to be able to queue into dungeons without having to dismiss the Chocobo while they wait, and Yoshi-P thought they were asking to go into the dungeon WITH the Chocobo.

Back on topic - yes, please. I'd love to be able to mail my alts and share my house with them. I can't think of any other game (including ftp) that makes playing alt characters so inconvenient. It's a real shame, alts are so much fun for rp or just going through the story again, but not being able to gear them or send items to them easily takes a lot of the fun away.

I mentioned this already. It was fixed 2.1.

I would've done it but didn't learn about it until a friend told me about it after it was patched. It wasn't really openly discussed and when looking back all I found was one thread on reddit talking about it moments before the patch.
