I happen to think that the mounts look cool, far be it from finished, but it adds variety and that's a good thing. I hope that other mounts are hard to come by, but there isn't anything wrong about doing something along those lines... Any argument that having other mounts isn't Final Fantasy doesn't tie into the core of what Final Fantasy really is... And that's an every evolving game. Sure we all have our favs, (FFVI for me personally, so I'm super excited about the magitek armor) but that's what's the games about.

Everyone's entitled to their own opinion, and I'm very happy that the dev teams shows us as much as they do, that is one of the biggest changes to SE in years. Anyway, to keep this short. The saying, "don't knock it until you try it" holds true for any and all updates. And if you have feedback, be constructive...

Wow you guys must really like stupid-looking jump animations.

The jump is way too vertical and lacks realism and continuity between walking-jump.

If you look at the movement animations in game, this jump animation is so much poorer in quality. They need to invest less time in making stupid Monster mounts and put more effort into fine-tuning jump.

The fact that makes you such a successful troll is that it literally takes no effort to refute anything you have to say, so of course people will do it. Whether it's skill to pick the worst arguments ever intentionally or just due to good old fashioned ignorance is what would be interesting to know.

If yoshi is improving jump (like i suggested) then you are in effect calling Yoshi a troll for doing the same thing I would have done in his position. Judging by my response to the video, obviously it was my first time seeing it. So sorry I still don't have my doctoral degree in Things Yoshi has Said About Jumping yet. As such, it was a little rude to just call me a troll for voicing what is obviously a valid problem (since you yourself say it's not the final animation).

Anyway, I bet the final animation is the same one in the video amplified twice in height, lol. I wouldnt put it past them, tbh.

On the other hand, when your attempts to find anything to complain about are so easily refuted, really proves how great of a job Yoshi-P and his team is doing. Even trolls fail at finding legitimate faults.

I think the hyur animation was fine if a bit rough (much better than what I was expecting), lalafell one was weird though.
