If they made your choice of Deity do anything, then yes i would like to have the option to change that. I would also like to change my character's hair color, but nothing else about the appearance (simply because the color i picked turned out a lot lighter than i thought it would, and my highlights are barely even visible). I'm gonna have to say no on everything else though.

But instead of being able to change company, i would like the option to buy gear from other GC's at a higher seal cost, similar to how XI did with conquest point items.

actually i think YoshiP did mention that you can change the deity you worship in-game and also changing company or buying other company items and such, but~ it wont happen now, and it's still being discussing and also might be further into 2.0 anyway.

Anyway my question is, if for example player decide to change her/his name in game, what will happen with Lodestone data like history etc. Will old name still exist on previous data or it will be replaced with new one?

Back on topic, as for re-rolling in 2.0, we are pretty much going back with full character creation with:

• Appearance
• Race/Clan
• Gender

I understand that changing name would be problematic as character data is most likely linked with our names and not some unique ID. Same for a character's home city-state, it's not possible to shift the completed story quests.
However, I was wondering if the character re-roll in 2.0 will also include the ability to change Guardian and nameday. As far as I know, it doesn't affect anything inside the game, it's just for the looks as of now. Will we be able to?

Beside tweaking a few small details on my character, changing Guardian is the thing I would like to do with 2.0 if possible. :S

Probably counting to 10 to avoid exploding at some of the posts on the forums.
