As long as I'm able to change my character from a female Miqo'te to a male Miqo'te, as well as change their name (as it's a rather feminine-sounding name, at the moment), I'll be satisfied.

We just want a free chance to entirely edit our character once 2.0 comes... after tagging along to make this game better for 2 years we don't even get that?

No one is making a problem about free edit chance... just the devs after they promised us in first place.

I don't really care for the rest because I'm content with my character, but if they will be adding new hair styles I wouldn't mind being able to change to one should I like one but it seems it's intended to allow that

I doubt there will ever be a chance to re-roll a company or a starting city because you would be doing in parallel quests which were not meant for such a thing and gaining an unfair advantage over player who choose not to change either/or

I however do not believe that they should be able to change their guardians or their birthdays.

Why? When we created our characters, we were told that birthdays and guardian deities didn't have any effect, but also that this would change later and that at this point we could change them - that "later" didn't happen yet, but i see it happening in 2.0

If they make the deities affect the game then I'd like to have a one-time change available, it doesn't really hurt the gameplay anyway (unlike changing GC/city)

I can't tell the difference between male and female lala so it would be just as shocking to me regardless of what sex that Roe changed to in the lalafell species. Besides, who really cares if someone is "shocked" by a sex change. Sex changes have been occurring in the real world for years now.

As far as changing characters.... I'll all for race, gender, name, birthday etc.... but i think GC and City should be permanent.... Even tho i would like to change the GC i signed up to... As long as I'm given the option to change my character it self... then I'll be happy.

Just wanted to clarify just a tiny bit: The comment from Yoshida during the LIVE video was mainly geared toward being able to change gender, specifically. Not so much about being able to change race. It was vague in our Twitter post about it, so I'm hoping to dispel the misinformation now.

I will reiterate my "Yes! Please, please, 2.0 can't come soon enough!" for the ability to change everything cosmetic about my character, especially gender.

I fully support this. I started @ collectors which was actually beta for me. I would love to have a chance to change my chara with 2.0, only once of course.
