Pretty much this. If you enjoy doing something don't you want to get better at it (or at least try to)?I can't play soccer very good, but still I want to take part in every match available.
But I don't want to train, nor do I want any advice or any strategic/tactic jabbering.
I don't even want to know which position i should play... If I want to go keeper, I just do it and if I decide to do that with my hands tied behind my back you should better live with it.
Everyone who tells me how I should hit the ball to make him go where I want or whoever tells me in what direction I have to play is an elitist!

Problem is this isn't a professional league with stringent rules and metrics you're expected to earn. It's a game. If someone wanted to play in a soccer league, and signed up with their local one, and chose not to practice between games likely wouldn't be kicked out completely (depends on the league and level of professionalism).I can't play soccer very good, but still I want to take part in every match available.

(going to ignore the whole last half of your post because that's just being extreme for the sake of being extreme. People like THAT are so far less than 1% of 1%, you might run into them once a year)
I could see people possibly kicking more often to avoid a possible rank down.Maintaining standing would become more important than niceities or sticking with a player. Ever see how sometimes in a 24 man, people start accusing others of intentionally wiping the alliance? Apply that suspicion to all lvl 60 content, and you have this system at work. Unlike the 24 man complaints however, there is a real consequence of having that player stay and make the party look bad to the game. (That White Mage that keeps stacking on me during cleaves when i need heals, is not only ruining my mhach run, but the roulettes I'm going to do later, if i get ranked down.) This does not facilitate learning, this facilitates kicks and removal.
But assuming your good. You'd most likely wouldn't get those people based on OP.
This would only hurt lower level people who are just barely about to get out of low tier rank.
The problem, in order to fairly progress, we need practice and if you really want people practice, you need slower levelling. Problem, people want to reach the level 60 as fast as possible and people who already have a level 60 want their second, third or whatever job to be 60 as fast as possible too.
All grading system in the world will never change that or you need to differentiate the pace of levelling depending the "skill" of each player. But who is judge? SE? Do you really imagine they will spend time and money for something that will make fly away a lot of players?
You will NEVER find a solution that suits to all players especially since it is a game, a leisure, an entertainment in which not all people are looking for the same thing and, specificaly for FF, it is not a environment build for competition between players. I saw a comparison with soccer, but this is totally wrong, FF has nothing to compare with a league even local but rather is close form the soccer ball and players, some people who want to play with the ball, some will want to play for fun, nothing serious, other will want to play a "serious" match and will want to compare to each other. FF is not the soccer league or even the local club, it is the ball with which you play.

Unless you tell her where she went wrong? If you do that and she still does it, then it's not your fault.
I go in the DF because PF is full of elitist, whinny, and picky players. I've made better progress when joining the DF that when looking for groups because these 'good' players refuse to play if you don't do things their way, and bring their drama everywhere. If you're so picky, just make a static that's your level. I like learning, improving, and then teaching mechanics. If you're so 'good' or don't have patience, don't join a random party in PF.
Seriously. Not everyone who complains about elitists refuses to get better. I record my runs to analyze later, and see how I performed. I've tweaked my play style and have grown a lot. I take real advice seriously. Yet when I try to join a PF there's always this rotten apple with a diva complex that starts complaining at whoever isn't doing things the way they had done for years. I gave up on PF.
Also, this idea is one of the worst I've seen on the forums yet. But I appreciate the time you put into your post.
Oh please, everyone had that kid in their class that was always the last one to be picked to play soccer.Problem is this isn't a professional league with stringent rules and metrics you're expected to earn. pretty sure the resources required to set up a game system precise enough to track the advice I give, and determine if I should be affected would be beyond the devs...and just creepy.
Two years ago, maybe once during that whole first year of me playing but I wasn't anywhere near high level duty correlation. Now that I've been level 60 for around another year, it's almost every second day I see someone with abysmal DPS.Problem is this isn't a professional league with stringent rules and metrics you're expected to earn. If the rules let me post all the records I have, you'll know it's not an exaggeration. There are hundreds of records where DPS roles do less DPS than tank and healer. The records can't unfortunately show you whether they're mentors too which a large estimation of 30% in my personal records are.

I'm going to repeat it since it got buried earlier in the thread.
I'm against a grading system, but I do think a chart at the end of a dungeon showing the breakdown of damage dealt, damage taken, healing done, and metrics like that would be fun.
