Forcing NA Duty Finder to be better, we need a grading system.

It feels like no one notices the game is even telling you to do that setup too >_> Seeing as when the adds do spawn and people have B in the middle, the middle add goes to the left, to A and the left add goes middle, to B. Watch VA's last boss adds and who they have hate on when they spawn if you don't believe it. Not that it matters too much, just something thats bugged me for a while lol




Also, not saying we need something that splits the playerbase, but we kind of do need something to improve the overall playerbase. Not trying to be elitist or anything, but it's horrible when you queue up for something and theres no new person message, yet 6-7 people in the pt have 0 clue on how to do it and just cause wipe after wipe after wipe D: Had that happen multiple times, in easy content. Another example, today I was doing some Bismarck ex to see if I could get a bird, just through DF (I know it's not the best way to get a bird, but eh, needed something to do while FC people got on lol). Everyone in the pt was at least i220+. We didn't have enough dps to kill the snakes.

16 years of playing mmos and I've never seen a mmo so dumbed down and hand holding (except savage), that people still fail at it :/ I miss when mmos actually made you put in effort or you wouldn't get anywhere. Yes, people quit because of that, but the people who stayed actually formed a great community and pugs were safer and less of a waste of time from nonstop wipefests because people being lazy.

A good portion of the time, terrible/lazy players who have no intention to improve, are what causes elitism. So if you complain about people being elitist, take the time to look at the people who are causing the frustration (the same people who expect to be carried or only want to press 2 buttons) and making people "elitist" because some people actually want to clear content, especially easy content and don't want to spend hours/days/weeks wiping when theres no excuse for it, especially in a game that's incredibly easy like XIV. Not even kidding about incredibly easy. It takes a few seconds to just read your skills and over half of them even tell you which skill to use next in the combo. There's no excuse for someone with tome gear to be doing almost no damage. Theres not really many different ways to do a rotation in XIV, seeing as it tells you "use this or you won't do more damage", so unless you're just hitting random buttons, which it seems some people actually do, theres no reason not to be doing average/good damage.




Tl;dr - XIV is an incredibly easy game but people still fail at basic things. Something needs to be done and SE needs to stop catering to people who cry for nerfs on things that don't need to be nerfed just so they can do it in their sleep, which when everything is easy, everything is boring. As the popular saying goes "Git gud".

I have nothing against new players, so don't get me wrong, it's just the people who want to be carried and don't give a crap :/ The "I pay my sub" excuse is poor. Yes, you pay your sub, but you're also ruining it for people who pay their subs.
