Extremely high CPU temps only when playing FF14

I am really not sure what is going on here. I don't have problems in any of the other games I am playing. However in FF14 my CPU temps are reaching the mid to high 80s and have even caused thermal shutdowns recently. The video cards get hot but nothing like the CPU does.

I haven't been able to track this down to any single cause however the single biggest culprit seems to be character physics. Even though CPU usage is only around 30% I am getting voltage spikes followed by the temp spikes.

Now before you tell me to get a better cooler or blow out my fans... I am running on a custom Water cooled loop. Temps usually only hit a Max of around 65 on the CPU even under extremely taxing Bechmarks.

CPU is a 5820K Overclocked to 4.4Ghz at 1.275 Volts.

I am actually worried about chip damage at this point when playing the game...

dial your Overclock back to 4Ghz and you shouldn't have any problems.
