    Primal EX progession / New idea

    Thanks for training ground... but ... well, let's just say it's not very practical.

    2 simple ideas that can go a long way :

    First idea :

    1. For Primals i would give the possibility for the leader of the group to chose a protection buff (magical and phys.) Before entering the fight, the leader would be able to chose between the followings :

    100% buff , 80% buff, 60% buff, 40% buff or 20% buff.

    Of course, if the party clear this trial with any of these buffs, no rewards and still have the comment "bonus" on the real fight.


    The idea of the 100% buff (immunity) is basically go in there and see the fight... the phases, what comes first and what comes next, etc. It would be better then watch vids in youtube, for sure. I'd solo with 100% for that reason.


    Second idea
    2.... Leader could select from what phase the group enters fight. I'd also like that.

    What they need to do is make the normal version of the fights tuned down versions of the EX fight. Currently, the normal and EX mode of primals barely reflect one another. Someone who has cleared normal Nighogg or normal Seph will still have no idea what to expect in the savage version of the fights. That's really terrible for anyone who wants to learn these fights outside of a static; which can be hard to come by.

    It would mean harder normal versions, but only a bit harder. Jumping up to the savage version of a primal fight should mean super harsh punishments for not following mechanics; instead it means learning completely new mechanics.

    I like that idea of yours very much.

    My FC didn't like my ideas very much.

    1, Having such buffs will not represent the real fight and can't be good practice since the phases will be phase out.

    2. Practice only phases will not guaranty players have cleared all the phases for the real clear.

    Here is a third idea :

    What i wish is SE to implement some tools so i can recruit players that are on same progression as i am.

    Here is the tool : In PF, it can show, next to your name, the % of HP left from boss... Your best stat. You could easely ask "players under 30% only". Not a perfect tool, it has it's flaws, but it helps. Like if someone had paid for a clear, didn't get the wep, and now wants to try again...

    I am just super tired of going back in PF, precisely because people lie and pretend to be on a progression they are not. That, right there, is a HUGE time sink and super annoying. Makes me want to only try these in a static.

    There's a tool that does that. It's called a parser or a DPS meter. SE doesn't support the use of them because they fundamentally don't understand how endgame raiding works.
